16-Slot Modular Converter Rack with SNMP Management

RAD's LRS-20 modular converter rack with SNMP management provides housing for the ETX Ethernet media converter and AMC-100 universal modular media converters/repeaters. LRS-20 modular converter rack holds up to 16 modules. All modules are hot-swappable and are supported by RADview PC SNMP management.

LRS-20 is a compact 3U-high, ETSI-compliant card rack for the AMC-100 and ETX fiber to copper media conversion modules. Up to 16 media conversion modules can be installed in the LRS-20, providing a CO/POP site solution for connecting up to 16 remote users per chassis. (For deployment on the remote side, an ETX or AMC-100 module is installed in a compact single-slot LRS-1 standalone unit.)

Card insertion, LEDs and cable connections (except for the power cables) are at the front of the chassis. The chassis can be mounted in a standard 19-inch rack.

The AMC-100 and ETX converter modules are hot-swappable, allowing individual module insertion and removal without affecting active services.

The chassis operates with single or dual AC or DC power supplies. Each power supply supports a fully populated LRS-20 rack. A power supply can be replaced during operation, without affecting system performance (hot-swapping).

LRS-20 is supported by RADview-PC for SNMP management, allowing configuration management, diagnostics and loop activation, as well as monitoring and fault management.
