The IPVgate-20A SMB analog VoIP gateway router is deployed by service providers to deliver superior SIP-based VoIP services over broadband to small and medium businesses (SMBs) with ADSL2+, Ethernet or fiber connectivity.

 

When the intelligent IPVgate-20A is remotely managed by RAD’s IPVsuite-200 Class 5 SIP softswitch and provisioning system, Opex is kept to a minimum, ensuring low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

 

The IPVgate-20A's robust end-router, interoperable with any SIP device, provides full telephony line replacement in addition to broadband access, data communications and enterprise networking. The gateway router connects legacy analog telephones, analog PBXs, fax machines, and data networks over broadband to a SIP-based IP telephony network.

 

The product features a built-in ADSL modem, LAN and wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) data connectivity, router, firewall, and VPN, enabling easy and secure connection between headquarters and branch offices. Fax machines connected to this analog VoIP CPE also benefit from high-quality T.38 support, ensuring reliable fax transmissions.

IPVgate-20A SMB analog VoIP gateway router is an intelligent business communications center, providing a business solution for today’s emerging SIP VoIP services.

 

The IPVgate-20A VoIP gateway router for SMBs provides analog connectivity to SIP VoIP services by a variety of interfaces: ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+ (Annex A and Annex B), Ethernet or fiber uplink.

 

The IPVgate-20A SMB analog CPE is fully interoperable with leading softswitches and SIP servers.

 

When operating as part of the RAD VoIP System, the IPVgate-20A works seamlessly with the IPVsuite-200 softswitch providing statistics and analysis for remote troubleshooting.

 

The product can also provide IP trunking to any analog PBX and also replace existing PSTN trunks.

A one-box solution for business voice and data communications needs, the IPVgate-20A features a four-port 10/100 BaseT LAN with an integrated switch.

Engineered for superior Quality of Service, the IPVgate-20A has multilayered Quality of Service (QoS) mechanisms to ensure the integrity of VoIP telephone calls. The unit performs Type of Service (ToS) tagging to assign priority to VoIP packet traffic and thereby ensure integrity of VoIP phone calls.

The IPVgate-20A analog VoIP gateway router connects legacy analog telephones, PBXs, faxes and data over broadband to SIP-based IP telephony networks. The product connects two or four FXS ports over any broadband Internet connection. Secure wireless networking by Wi-Fi access point (IEE 802.11b and IEE 802.11g) is an optional feature.

 

The IPVgate-20A has an optional SFP transceiver for connecting to the WAN over a fiber interface.

 

The built-in VPN IPSec server/client utilizes a 3DES encryption algorithm and up to 10 tunnels per device, creating transparent connectivity of enterprise LANs into a single, virtual one.

The IPVgate-20A is available for an integrated ADSL modem, which provides ADSL line monitoring as well as automatic rerouting of all data via a backup router in the event of connectivity failure.

 

The analog VoIP gateway for SMBs enables connection to any other SIP device by just dialing its number. In case of SIP server failure, it can establish a peer-to-peer phone calls to ensure high availability of service (AOS).
